Whew! This book is absolutely phenomenal! It's a book, as long as you've read Never Standing Still, that you don't want to start emotionally, but you force yourself to, because you have to find out how Riot and Kalli's story end. Naturally, without a second guess, Anie doesn't disappoint her readers in yet another story. This book is emotionally draining, but this book is also incredibly exciting and ends on a happy note!
This story is written in such a way I think that anyone that is dealing or has dealt with death of a close family member, could relate to this story. I think it was written with incredible grace and patience. The grieving wasn't rushed and felt natural. It felt real.
Anie doesn't disappoint her readers that love a good hot steamy bedroom scene either. She has written a few of them in this story and I don't think she really spared any detail. It was written in a classy way but don't get me wrong, they were HOT and STEAMY! I don't think there is anything about it that you could dislike.
As all of Anie's books go, there are twists and turns and soul grabber moments in the story. Just when you don't think you can read any more sadness, that bright moment in the cloudy sky opens up, and a bright ray of sunshine shines through. Just the same, when the book seems to be going all smiles and cheer, there is a moment that jeopardizes that. She keeps you on your toes and doesn't write a story that you can guess what will happen from page one.
Without giving anything away or spoiling the book for you: THE END, OH MY GOSH THE END!! High five girl, you wrote that ending like a boss! It was not what I was expecting and was done so perfectly and felt so natural I hated that the story was ending! It fit into Riot and Kalli's story so perfectly! Ah, take my word on this, you gotta read this story!

You know sometimes the second book in a series isn't as good as the first. That is definitely NOT the case with this book.
Kalli's story continues in the second book of the series. With many intense, crazy, sad and epically happy moments. This book will guarantee a sobfest. The characters in this series are so well written. Riot is charming, sweet and swoon worthy. Sighs. Every woman's dream.
The story, so intense and interesting you won't put it down. Unbelievably amazing! One of my all time favorite HEA stores to date! 5/5 stars.

This book was a sweet emotional read. While I enjoyed it I also thought it was a little slow. Riot and Kallie have a love created in the heavens. He's her rock and she's his forever. Without each other they would have been floating down the river just surviving. I was truly grateful when they were able to finally get back together. I enjoyed meeting Riot's family and how they welcomed Kallie into their home and hearts with open arms. That was something she needed. While Kallie went though an emotional roller coaster I was glad to see that she was able to fight through it all and come out on top.
Never Tied Down by Anie Michaels is the second book in The Never Duet Series. This book starts off where Never Standing Still left us.
Kalli is struggling with the loss of her brother Marcus. She is missing the love she pushed away, Riot. Everyday she is trying to move on. Trying to put the past behind her. But what happens when the past comes back into the picture? You will have to read Never Tied Down to find out!!
Never Tied Down is a page turner. The emotions are so very real. This story is so addicting, I wasn't able to put it down. The characters and story line draw you in until the very last page.
Anie Michaels has this writing style that I absolutely LOVE! She captivates her readers and she knows when at the right moment to throw in a twist and turn. I highly recommend Never Tied Down!!! This book is hands down five amazing stars!!! LOVED IT!!!
This is the conclusion to Kalli and Riot's story, part two of the Never Duet. Due to mature themes, it is intended for adult readers.
I miss him.
I miss Marcus.
I miss Riot.
I miss them.
Pushing Riot away when Marcus died was an act of desperate self-preservation. I didn’t love him any less, didn’t blame him for Marcus’ death, but I couldn’t be with him and deal with the crushing weight of guilt that tore me down every single day.
So, I moved on. Or tried to, anyway.
Life, of course, pushed us back together.
I still don’t know if I’m strong enough to keep myself away from him. Or if I even want to.
Besides, something tells me life isn’t done trying to break me.
This was so well written! It had me on an emotional rollercoaster, however it was so worth the read! I absolutely loved how Ms. Michaels wrapped up Kalli and Riot's story. I was crying one minute and laughing the next. Please read this series, you won't be disappointed!
Anie Michaels once again draws you in to characters that you just can't get enough of. Like Ella and Porter in her previous series we have 2 individuals that you can't help but fall for. Riot is your next BBF for sure. I fell for his kindness, thoughtfulness, and of course hotness!!!!! It melts my heart to see a male character who has that never failing love that every girl wants to have. Kalli is a woman who's life is a tragic set of circumstances. To be open to the prospect of love when she has lost so much is a challenge in its self. To see the strength she has and yet the sorrow in her heart you just keep hoping that she finds and believes in the love that is there from Riot.
I enjoyed this book from cover to cover. I thank you Anie Michaels for writing such an exquisite story. You must put this book on your MUST READ LIST. No disappointments here!
